This Privacy Policy explains what information Kitchen & Recipes (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, and how it is used. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Your saved recipes (favorites), shopping list, ingredient pantry, and light/dark theme preference are stored only in your own browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accepton the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time — see our Cookie Policy.
We may display ads via Google AdSense, which — again only after consent — may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can learn more and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

When you use the AI Chef, the list of ingredients you enter is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenAI to generate a recipe. We do not attach your identity to these requests.
